Clark C25C:
Check engine codes

This is a tier III truck with error codes 4-7-1, 7-1-7, 7-1-2 & 7-1-1. I know what the last 2 are but not sure about the first 2. Also, tried clearing the codes with the 10 presses of the accelerator pedal trick but no go. Got any ideas?

Hey Joe

sent email couple days ago.Turned out this customer has been leaving unit idling up to 6hrs per day, don't ask why, supposedly cheaper than replacing starters.

Ok, same unit, same codes. About once a month I get a check engine light with these same codes. Truck runs fine. 2 months ago, I swapped out the trim valve with new. Still got the codes. Checked grounds and all good. Also noticed this time that message something about PIN 25 popped up on the display a split second before the CHECK ENGINE MESSAGE. Since my original post I have been able to clear the codes with the peddle but not this time. I'm going to have to call the same tech out (only one at the local dealership with laptop and program for this truck). Could this problem be caused by the SECM?

Aint nothing a hammer can't fix
Thanks, Sparky. I ended up having a dealer tech out, who just cleared the codes with his laptop and they haven't come back. How many fault codes are there? Any way I can get a list?
