Charging system

The charging system is charging and the light is on. It has a new alternator and regulator. The wire between the regulator and the light is good. Any ideas?

Are there any diodes in the wires either to or from the charging light or in the wire from the alternator to the battery, could be a faulty diode inline someplace.
What engine does the truck have in it?

Sounds like the regulator is defective. I'm assuming the regulator is seperate from the alt. Was the regulator replaced recently?

Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
