sbhbrett,
you can try disconnecting the battery for 15 mins and see if that resets it but i doubt it will, that info is generally hardcoded into the programming.
Usually that is reset through the software and a relearn command is given using the software.

one of the most common problems with the throttle body code E23 or E24 is broken wires at the plug harness.
There could also be a throttle plate linkage hanging or damaged gears in the motor causing it to hang.

Also if the battery is disconnected, or the throttle body disconnected/replaced or the accelerator sensor disconnected/replaced you must perform:
- accelerator released position learn
- throttle valve closed position learn
- idle air volume learn (fast TAS normal)
Failure to perform these learns may cause these codes to set.

The etc relay,3rd down can be checked by turning key to run position, if it is good you will hear the stepper motor in the electronic throttle control cycle. If it is bad take the fuel pump relay and swap it, this is assuming the truck is not dual fuel or gas powered. The accelerator unit is two different pots check 5 volt reference and ground for each pot, if you have access to a quality scan tool, ie snap on Solus Pro, you can monitor apps sensor voltage, jump 5 volt refernce to signal for each sensor, and scanner should display 5 volts. Jump ground to signal and scanner should indicate 0 volts, this is to test circuit integrity, if good replace accelerator pedal position sensor.
