thanks for your help guys. After a return visit to the customer who had a new truck on hire was complaining the charger wasn't working because it had tripped out the mains.carried out quick reset and chat with the customer he said he had a battery link go on the cat which knock out the charger but he hadn't notice and carried on using truck with uncharged battery for long time. ordered and fitted the pump transistor and diode and problem is now fixed. thanks again
yep edward this is true
in almost every case i've had to replace one of those boards at least one of the diodes on it is smoked and there was corrosion, operator misuse or a battery condition (low voltage situation) present.
and it seems to me, in my experiences, that one of the primary reasons these particular cards seem to burn up has to do with either bulldozing (pushing), housekeeping and/or battery maintenance.
A lot of corrosion and low battery voltages are rough on any machine's controllers.
Check the motor brushes, too.
i may have already responded to another post you made about this but here goes again
code/fault 30 is pump motor circuit fault
possible causes are:
- faulty line contactor
- faulty regeneration contactor
- faulty D1P diode
- faulty pump motor wiring
- faulty head capacitor
- faulty T1P IGBT
- faulty CS3 current sensor
- faulty wiring in other parts (associated with pump circuit)
- faulty logic card
- faulty drive board
so there you have it, many many things that can cause this fault.
most likly suspects would be D1P diode, pump motor wiring, head capacitor, T1P IGBT or Drive board. Drive boards are fairly common with these trucks to go out.
