If you are able to Lift and lower, that means the lift passes its self check. It could be a few things, but without me being there it is hard to say.
My recommendation is to test the drive circuit to see if the controller is even sending voltage to the motors or where there is an issue.
Thanks, well i ended up buying 4 new batteries ,so everything works fine ,the boom goes up and down from the base panel, but it wont move back or forward
standing on two round foot posts ,locking the door, what am i doing wrong? never used any forklift or such machinery before.
Are you charging it using the Edison plug on the service panel? If so there should be a steady yellow light with a blinking green light to show it is charging. This can charge the lift using general outlets. If it is not showing any lights it is not charging. There needs to be atleast 22v over all 4 batteries for charging to start.
trying to charge it with a 2000 watt generator, should it show charging light right away, because its not showing yet any lights
Thanks a lot sir ,ur timely advice is highly appreciated.
You would have to open the bottom cover to expose the batteries and find a postive and negative cable that are over 2 batteries creating 12v (if your charger is 12v). If the lift is completely dead to where you need to jump it to even get the hour meter to show, it sounds like you have bigger problems and might want to charge the lift before it causes major damage to the batteries.
