you forgot after 10seconds and code appear hold pedal to floor to clear
if you successfully enter into the diagnostic mode to clear the codes using the pedal dance and the code does not clear then your problem is still there. You have to have the problem repaired before the code will clear or it will just set itself again.
How do you know you've successfully entered the diagnostic mode after the pedal dance? You will notice the flashing lights change and the engine light (MIL) will flash out of sequence with the others and also the hour meter will show up umong the code that is flashing in the LED display, generally when in error display mode the hour meter reading is hidden.
Hi i have the same problem and it show the E34 i don;t know about the E34 code i use the isntruction that you submit put it dosen;t work on my c500 do yuo have any other idea
TRY:
Key on:
Wait 3 second (use long count like 1 mississippi,
2 mississippi, 3 mississippi or stop watch.
Off pedal 7 seconds (Long count)
On pedal 10 seconds (Long count) hour meter should appear at 10 sec. mark then start fluxuating between code and meter, wait till excamation ( ! ) quits flashing then key off, then restart truck.
You can also try to disconnect battery negitive and wait 1 minute.
When you do the pedal dance make sure the floor board is back on truck.
If the code was for brake light switch, do the dance with the other foot pushing down brake pedal, not inching.
if anyone does have that information, they would need you to put a good e-mail address in your profile (not in the forum), to be able to contact you.

jake,
i have just got this e27 on a c5000.
what did u do to solve this?
E27 relates to crankshaft position sensor. Have seen this code set because of misfire of sparkplug, coil pack or wiring to coil pack.
