Looking for info or part # for starter for a C500-YS80. Cannot find any motor info as to what manufacturer it is. Model year in question also but around 1982 - ???that runs LPG. Cannot seem to find a part anywhere.

Curious if you resolved your starter issue? Norlift(Clark dealer) in Spokane, WA --(509)535-1776--should be able to help with a serial # I would think.

I have used Clark pt#2355693 for applications such as yours with a continental 6 cyl flathead engine. Make sure the starter has a seal behind the bendix drive & use a flange gasket when mounting starter as unit has a wet bell housing design.
