Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) EP15T:
Bleeding brakes

I have changed the master cylinder and would like to know if there is a correct sequence of the bleeding process on the slave cylinders on the calipers. They have a top and bottom bleed screw. I have been using the top screw to try and get the air out of the system and have had some success.
Thanks for any help on this item.

These can be fun I have done it a few ways. I start with bench bleeding the master cylinder and then loosen the upper bleeders for awhile to allow a gravity bleed. I also used to have a cap with a hole in it and put light air pressure on the master cylinder while opening the bleeders creating a power bleeder method. The method I use on most all lift trucks now is a ATV motorcycle pressure bleeder that forces fluid from the bleeder through the master cylinder, a reverse power bleeder. You can buy one on Amazon or Ebay for about $20. Good luck
