Was wondering where you got your manual for this unit. Does your unit have a air cooled diesel engine. And is it a parts manual also?

I would like to thank the people who helped me work this project out. With your help I found a manual about this truck and now it's the best toy in my toy box. Thanks again

Found two sets of numbers #78674 and #1380_7 can't read the 5th number in the second group.I also adjusted the stop on the brake/realse valve[for disengauging the transmisson] and the truck pulls really good now.pULLED THE TIRE OFF TO MEASURE THE BACKSPACE and the weight was 187lbs. so I think its a solid tire can I change over to a regular tire

Your forklift truck is absolutley an FJF model. You may have seen a photo of a previous version. Baker forklift trucks were made by series. Most likely this is an 1860 series.
I would not recommend sandblasting a forklift truck. It could contaminate the hydraulic system and then you would have some issues.

MY MISTAKE JUST GETTING OVER THE FLU, THE FLUID IS RED AND FOUND A RELIFE VALVE HOOKED TO THE BRAKE PEDEL ASSM. WILL TRY TO ADJUST IT AND SEE IF IT HELPS. THE CARRAGE IS 16" WITH PHEM. 15" FRONT TIRES, GAS 6 CYL.FLAT HEAD CONTIN. MOTOR HAVE LOOKED AT A PICTURE OF A FJF-040 AND LOOKS NOTHING LIKE MINE. WILL SANDBLAST MORE OF THE FRAME TOMORROW LOOKING FOR NUMBERS

The carriage is the item that the forks hang on.
The transmission in this truck is pretty strong and very simple. The fluid should be red. Even if it is 2 quarts low it would affect the proper functioning of it.

Definitely an FJF series with a torque converter transmission and LP Gas powered flathead Continental engine.

Serial numbers were stamped in the LH side top of the frame right where the operator places their feet to get in/out of the truck. Usually worn off or very difficult to find or read.

Transmission used Dextron ATF which is red in color. Sounds like the transmission may be slipping and someone filled it with some kind of heavier type oil to try and compensate for wear.

Good luck on finding the serial number

The carriage can't be 22" from top to bottom. It is most likely 16"
The numbers are stamped on the outside next to the floorboard towards the front of the forklift truck. You are not looking hard enough.

What is on the side....?
The truck is a model FJF040,050 or 060. If the carrrage is 16" from top to bottom then it either has a 4000# or 5000# basic capacity. If the carriage is 20" then it has a basic capacity of 6000#.
The serial # should start with a letter followed by 1860-... or 1930-...

Can you post a photo of it? The serial # is definitely stamped in the frame near where I said. It should either start with 18.... or 19...

Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
