Baker FMA 030

Have a chance to buy a Baker FMA 030 forklift for $1,000. Looking for expert perspectives as to parts availability / dependability / overall. I have an automotive custom shop and would be using it in and around. Thanks for you time and assistance in advance. Mike

Definitely a good truck in its day. Parts support from Linde, formerly Baker, is non-existent for this lift. Some soft parts are still available after market, but hard parts are basically not available unless you're fortunate enough to find them at a scrap forklift dealer.

It was a good forklift truck in its day. Most likely early to late 1970's. Believe it or not a lot of the parts are still available.
