Hi- Ok, any ideas on what might need repaired? I have checked all fuses and they seem to be fine. There is one small fuse on the panel that says "main" it will blow when the key is turned on. Certainly I'm not the only person in the world to do this, therfore I'm hoping the fix might be common- thanks

IFIXIT, you are the man. Got a replacement DC/DC converter off ebay and put it in and she powers up again! Thank you so much for your advice!
On the hunt for one now, I'll let you know soon. Thanks so much for the help!
Did the DC/DC converter work?
Yes, sir. DC/DC converter shorted inside
It is a 36 volt, so there is a dc to dc converter on there that blows?
Just looked up the part, you need a DC/DC converter....doesn't matter which battery
Very common, what is the battery? 24v or 36v ?
