Discussion:
aisle master will not activate

I have an aisle master 44se. Key switch turns on as normal. When you press accelerator pedal nothing happens. No hydraulic, steering or travel. Checked fuses, seat switch directional switch. Checked switch in pedal. Checked relays.

You could have a faulty accelerator, when you turn the key on you should get power to the main controller terminal 1 and the aux contactor coil to power the DC/DC convertor. Once the controller see power it will give a supply to the main contactor. Once the main contactor is energised you need a feed from the seat switch. The hydraulics won't work until you de-press the accelerator. All of the can be checked using the curtis handset.

Connected hand set. No active or stored faults. Main contactor pulls in and holds. Voltage checks at battery volts through contacts.

You will need to connect a curtis handset to see what is happening. Wiring diagram is in the back of the operators manual. The line contactor has to close before anything will work. Sometime the line contactor will come in the drop out. This usually indicates some dirt on the contact tips. Can happen after blowing off excess dust with an airline.

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
