Discussion:
36 volt charger keeps blowing fuses!!!!!

The charger keeps blowing fuses both with the 20 amp that came with it as well as a 30 amp as a trial. Not sure what is wrong. Any ideas?

Assuming that it is set for the correct input voltage, the #1 reason for immediately blowing AC fuses is that one or more of the transformers is shorted. They can not be tested or repaired.

To start with:
1. Was the charger voltage settings properly set to the house input voltage & phase (single or three)?
2. Was the charger wired in correctly?
3. Or did this just start happening?
4. The charger make & model # would be go info to post.

If the fuse is taken out straight away upon powering up via the mains, the most likely areas to look at will be either rectifier or transformer for short circuits.
