Discussion:
23530-23620-71 Aisan Fuel Regulator

Our regulator has been acting up for awhile and has now started leaking. I've looked for rebuild kits but they don't seem to be readily available for this model. New is $750.00 or better. Has anyone upgraded/downgraded to a different model of regulator? It seems most new Aisan regulators are around $400 to $500, so I'm assuming this one is old enough that repair parts are scarce or unavailable?

Did you ask a Toyota dealer? I think the kits are 04221-20341-71 (valve) and 04221-20360-71 (diaphragm)

Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
