Hi all,
I just bought a 05 Nissan L02 Super Cheap. It was delivered today and as I was told Forward and Reverse doesn't work at all. Everything else seems to operate as it should.
Was told there is "NO PRESSURE" from Wisconsin lift truck but that's all the info I got.
I have a parts manual and a fair amount of mechanical knowledge.
I was hoping someone could kind of tell me where to start as tracking down the cause of the problem. "IE" Pump, Inching Circuit, etc..
Thank you

The L02 truck had a cable for the inching. You should be able to remove it to see if it is a problem. The shift levers on these trucks will go bad and cause trans malfunctions but I have not seen one go out in both directions. They do not always set off any codes. Just a thought before you pull it down. Unless, of course, you have no pump pressure at all, which would indicate the need for rebuild.
I bought it from a customer of mine. wi lift truck did the maintenance on it. after it lost forward and reverse wi lift truck picked it up and reported it had no pressure.
I checked the pressure in fwd and rv. and indeed it has no pressure.
There are no dummy lights on on the dash.
I was told there could be a pile of things other than the pump or trans rebuild that could be wrong. I have no service manual for just a parts and owners manual.
I would figure if Wisconsin lift truck said there was no pressure {and sold you the truck "super cheap",} you will need to rebuild the transmission.
does it have any codes on the dash?
it actually could be the dash is bad, but I would think that Wisconsin lift truck would have taken pressure readings, and ruled out a bad dash.
I would suggest the starting place to be to take the pressure readings yourself.
