National Transport Security

Australia, Melbourne - March 04, 2015 - March 05, 2015
National Transport Security The issue of transport security is always top of mind for government, corporations and private citizens around the world.

Internationally, we've experienced major incidents like September 11, the London Bombings, Mumbai attacks & others. There has been an increased focus on securing our sea, air and land transport assets.

More recently the increase in the Australian Alert Levels - due to the rise of ISIS and other terrorist groups _has reawakened counter terrorism as an important item on our agenda. Although the latter is more likely to be focused on random attacks, (vs an AQ style tragedy), our transport operators and facilities need to tighten their security procedures to keep passengers and staff safe.

Key topics:

The current state of our evolving security environment
Counter terrorism initiatives
Securing our transport infrastructure assets
Supply chain security
Passenger monitoring, screening & safety
Developing risk based strategies and responses
