IFWLA Annual Convention

United Kingdom, Liverpool - 1st to 4th June 2015
This will be the third time that the Annual Convention of the IFWLA (International Federation of Warehousing Logistics Association) - global logistics operators' networking organisation - will be held in the UK.

A four-day programme of business and culture is planned for some 250 national and international delegates, comprising manufacturers, retailers, third party logistics (3PL) providers and other supply chain and logistics practitioners. Bringing together all sides of the global logistics industry, the international convention is under-pinned by a two-day conference to be held on Tuesday 2 June and Wednesday 3 June, at Liverpool?s historic Town Hall.

Hosted and organised by the UK's 3PL trade body, UKWA (United Kingdom Warehousing Association), the conference theme is: ?Change equals new opportunities - the changing face of global logistics, and the opportunities for you?. The Town Hall is only minutes away from the convention hotel.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
