PORTECH ASIA 2007

PorTech Asia 2007 will take place on October 24-25, 2007 in Sheraton Shanghai Hotel & Residences Pudong - Shanghai, China. A half-day offsite visit on October 26 to Yangshan Deepwater Port Phase-III will be complimentary to the two-day conference.

Further developing the key issues of the previous annuals, PorTech Asia 2007 will attend to: how to establish diversified investment models to stimulate port development; how to adjust port security strategies in today's information revolution, how to optimize port container transportation system to facilitate container transport, how to upgrade highly-efficient handling technology to meet demands of modern port logistics, how to boost port logistics services to build modern port logistics zone, how to exert shipping companies' advantages to invest in global port construction, how to attract overseas and domestic civilian capital to accelerate construction of small-medium-sized ports, how to activate offshore business and build world-class ports, how to leverage port competition and cooperation to perform a win-win practice, and how to improve port services to boost up brand competitiveness, etc.

PorTech Asia 2007 aims primarily at port operators, port investors, port equipment vendors, IT & software providers, shipping companies worldwide. The event is where participants upgrade knowledge, strengthen established relations and expand business territories.
