4th International Forum on Maritme & Port Risk Prevention

France, Nantes - 26th to 27th January 2012
Since its establishment in July 2004, the ISPS code has strengthened the security of maritime transport and established an international regime of cooperation between Governments, the shipping and port industry, to prevent incidents related to the security of ships and port facilities.

National Maritime College of France and Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port Authority organize since 2005 in Nantes, France, a scientific and international biennial, which has already gathered more than 1000 participants.

After the success of previous conferences and reassured by the findings of the 2009 event, Nantes will host again for two days and a half the 4th edition, named MARISK, which will open in the maritime and port risk prevention and will consolidate the thematic safety and security, providing at the same time the possibility of a showcase for industrial products, methods and systems related. This biennial rendezvous is now unavoidable.
