1st International NOW-Intralogistics-Workshop

Germany, Berlin - 3rd Nov. 2016
Economic & Environmental Benefits with Hydrogen & Fuel Cells in Materials Handling, Intralogistics and Ground Support Equipment at Airports.

By using highly efficient fuel cell technology it is possible to reduce CO2 emissions in industrial truck logistics by at least 25 per cent, increase productivity and substantially reduce warehouse floor space and loading times. Extensive real-life testing has successfully demonstrated the reliability of the technology in industrial truck applications. BMW and Daimler will report on their intralogistics projects. Users from the logistics sector will share their experiences and there will also be contributions from suppliers of fuel cell-powered industrial trucks.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
