Whilst most companies in Australia are suffering from the economic slow down, Warehouse Safety Solutions (WSS) is experiencing a huge growth spurt. WSS currently trade in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and the UK, with plans to exhibit at Promat 2009 in the USA in January.

WSS have built a product range that tries to be a "One Stop" shop for its customers. Products include Speed Limiters (these can also include dual zoning), Driver ID, Fleet Check, Weigh Scales, Cold store cabins, Forklift Flame proofing and Pedestrian railing and gates just to name a few.

Over the past 3 months the welders at WSS have been kept busy cutting and welding over 5 kilometers of pedestrian railing and gates for customers wishing to separate pedestrians from forklifts. The gates can be linked to the Early Alert System and magnetically lock when a forklift approaches.

WSS have delivered several Zone 1 explosion proof forklifts into Asia and have also delivered a number of "bolt on" cabins throughout the region.

They recently received an order for sixty weigh scales from one customer and their speed limiters are becoming a regular feature on most popular brands of forklift.

WSS recently released their Fleet Check system, the system is a complete fleet management system that is capable of controlling who can and cant operate a forklift, ensures the driver completes the safety check, records all impacts and emails management if the collision is to severe.

Most of the products in the WSS catalogue are their design and manufactured to their specifications in Australia. WSS believe they are well positioned to move forward in the future and intend to build their products and services as time moves on.
