Citing excellence in aftermarket service, UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) has announced the winners of its Aftermarket Excellence Program (AEP) Awards for the year ending March 31, 2017. The AEP is designed to reward and recognise dealers who have excelled in aftermarket parts and service. This year, eight new dealers have achieved Platinum level, the program's highest honour.

The Aftermarket Excellence Program challenges UCA dealers to achieve the high performance benchmarks across eight unique categories, which include business planning, employee training, factory support and customer satisfaction. 

First established in 1995 as the Service Excellence Program to provide dealers with tools to implement best-in-class principles covering technical and customer service practices, UniCarriers Americas Corporation enriched the program in 2014 as the Aftermarket Excellence Program with the inclusion of parts operations metrics to create a more comprehensive aftermarket program.

"We want to increase the marketshare and profitability of our dealers," says Kevin Fick, director, aftermarket sales, UniCarriers Americas. "Our goal is giving UniCarriers brand dealers measurable results, implementing a variety of principles including technical training, customer service, and best practices in parts growth.  The AEP provides everything they need to achieve these results."

Dealers who achieved Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze were rewarded for their efforts, which vary from aftermarket parts discounts to national recognition of their service.

"This past year, we've had the highest number of Platinum winners since the AEP program's inception, and a total of eight new Platinum award winners for 2016," Fick adds.
