viaSonic - a division of the German company Truma - found a partner in TVH for the world-wide, exclusive sale of the Sonatic®Kit. The Sonatic®Kit, based on an ultrasonic sensor system, is used for an accurate measuring of the fuel level in LPG-powered lift trucks.

Partner thanks to world-wide presence:

viaSonic was looking for a partner with customers and branches across the world; a solid base for the world-wide distribution of the Sonatic®Kit. TVH undoubtedly met this requirement, partially due to the presence of subsidiary SMH on the American continent. After all, gas-powered lift trucks constitute an important market share over there.

For TVH, this partnership is once more an extra trump card in the fortification of its leading position. By adding the Sonatic®Kit to the already very extensive range, TVH can now even more present itself as the lift truck spares and accessories specialist.

Saving through reliable measuring:

A unique ultrasonic technique provides a reliable fuel level measuring. Using the Sonatic®Kit on LPG-powered lift trucks therefore results in a considerable saving in costs. The accurate level-measuring via a dashboard-mounted gauge with needle-indication and the clearly visible LED-light as minimum fuel level indicator, prevent the truck from cutting out unexpectedly or gas bottles from being replaced prematurely. Indeed, other measuring systems, which use a float, cause gas bottles to be replaced untimely to prevent the truck from stalling. This loss of LPG results in a yearly cost of 500€ per lift truck. In the other case, the truck is driven until it runs out of fuel, which equals a loss of approximately 600€ in working hours per year per lift truck.

The measuring is even accurate when the lift truck is in motion and the driver has a clear view on the gauge at all times. The Sonatic®Kit is available in 3 different versions and can easily be fitted to nearly all types of lift trucks. As the viaSonic sensor has been integrated into the bracket and is not fixed to the gas bottle, the bottle can be replaced just as easily as before.
