Toyota Material Handling (TMH) is expanding its energy solutions portfolio with the release of its new 5/35 lithium-ion battery series.

The 5/35 batteries are IP69-rated and are available in 24V, 36V and 48V options to fit a variety of Toyota forklifts.

The batteries are suitable for use in hot and cold environments and feature integrated thermal management for operation in temperatures from 22 degrees (-5.6 C) to 122 degrees (50 C).

The 5/35 batteries are compatible with Toyota’s lithium-ion chargers and can be integrated with an onboard battery management system. TMH adds they deliver charging times as fast as one hour using dual-cable fast chargers.
