Task engineers at the Australian Manufacturing Plant have developed an enhancement to the already popular and versatile Viper Pedestrian Reach Truck.

The Task sales team had identified a strong demand from reach truck customers to enable lifting to capacity through the full lift height, after all why would you purchase racking to carry 1.5 tonnes if your lift trucks cannot lift it to the top shelf?

This customer demand has seen the popularity of the Task Viper Reach Truck increase as most of the reach trucks in the market are only capable of lifting less than 900kgs at their full lift height. Customers are most impressed to learn the Australian Made product can lift twice the capacity of most other trucks available on the market.

All Viper Models are tilt table tested to ensure compliance with the Australian Standard 2359.4-1995.

The Task Viper Reach Truck continues to use the proven Australian designed reach mechanism, a life time chassis warranty, ZF transmission, power steering, Rema handle and total variable lift lower, tilt side shift functions.

Task Forklifts CEO, Ben Rainsford explained "...the customer demand has been noticeable. The feedback from customers has been consistent in the expectation that the reach truck is able to lift maximum capacity at higher levels," Mr. Rainsford went on to elaborate "...customers are seeking units that have lifting capacity in turn saving time, and ensuring safe operation. Operators are not needing to measure load and height and calculate retained capacity."

Task Forklifts plan to market their units retaining full capacity of 1500kgs at 4.5m to the market, as customers seek the safety performance and stability of units with retained capacity.

Task Forklifts also have the option of a 2000kgs reach truck & manufacture units in the lift height ranging from 2.5m-6.5m.

The Viper has been engineered in Australia to suit Australian conditions and we are most satisfied to see this model succeed in Australia, SE Asia and the USA.
