The company KAUP GmbH & Co. KG presents a completely new attachment for forklift trucks - the Discharging Device T167S. Several features immediately make this attachment special and an economically feasible investment for the user. The most significant feature is the lack of hydraulic function on the
T167S. The discharging device is simply fitted on to any available attachment, for example a rotating fork clamp, and operated via mechanical forced control. The KAUP discharging device can therefore be put into operation quickly and simply.
Facts which speak for themselves:- cost efficient - retro-fitting on available forklift trucks
- slip-on - quick mounting, immediately ready for operation
- residual capacity - remains unchanged for normal forklift truck operation
- forced control - no additional hydraulic circuit required
- flexible - three load holding arm positions for different pallet frame heights
Technical information:- Designed to slip onto a rotating fork clamp (Fork profile 120 x 50 mm and 150 x 50 mm)
- 3 locking positions for pallet frame heights of 800, 1.200 and 1.600 mm
- Weight ca. 360 kg
KAUP's Discharging Device T167S: a cost-efficient and economical solution for rotating fork clampsAccording to
KAUP this attachment is most suitable for use where grate boxes or boxes based on Euro pallets with pallet frame need to be turned and emptied only occasionally or seasonally. In this case it is often not worth investing in an additional attachment. Three load holding arm positions allow pick up of crates and boxes with different heights and make the discharging device a flexible and economical customised solution.

KAUP has its origins in Leider, an urban district of Aschaffenburg. In 1894 a smithy was founded which later specialized in repairs in the field of ship and harbour equipment and was the forerunner of today's company. In the beginning of the 1960s the company, headed by Otmar Kaup, began with the manufacturing of attachments for forklift trucks. Later production was extended to include container spreaders and stationary equipment for material handling.
