Big Food Group has chosen Still to supply hundreds of forklifts to its Iceland Foods and Booker Cash & Carry distribution centres throughout the UK.

The contract, which a Still spokesman described as "substantial" in value, includes five years of on-site maintenance. The first delivery, of 357 new Still forklifts, includes FM reach trucks, CS order pickers, EGU-S pallet trucks and R70 counterbalance forklifts.

The Still spokesman said 68 forklifts would be built to cold store specifications, capable of working in temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees Celsius (minus 86 degrees Fahrenheit), and seven FM reach trucks would be fitted with comfort cabs for driver protection in cold conditions.
