Two well-known German forklift attachment manufacturers have joined under the one name, with Schulte-Henke and Stabau now both operating under the better known Stabau brand.

Both companies are subsidiaries of the Hubtex Group.

Schulte-Henke has been manufacturing forklift attachments for 50 years for Stabau with Hubtex deciding incorporating both under the one brand would help to ensure recognition and to “create the basis for stronger market presence”.

Hubtex group managing director Hans-Joachim Finger, says the move is designed to reposition the combined brand for future success in an international market.

"The name Stabau has always been synonymous with quality, innovation and reliability,” he adds. “By changing the name, we are emphasising these values even more and creating a clear identity that will also help us advance internationally".

New sales locations have also been added in the US and the UK to help bolster the brand.

In 2001, Stabau became the first German manufacturer to present telescopic fork tynes of the TGH model series.
