On September 25 2007 SMH celebrated the "Grand Opening" of its Phase II expansion. Just five months and four days before that, the excavation of the site began. Through early spring, the expansion team dealt with some unexpected weather delays. However, once the spring weather passed, the team was able to make up some of the lost days to open ahead of schedule.

We now have just under 5,000 new pallet locations and over 27,000 square feet consolidating packaging, kitting, and operating locations. With the 100,000 square foot expansion we have nearly doubled in size. The SMH Headquarters now takes up 350,000 square feet.
