CeMAT Russia 2013 is at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow on 24-27 September. |
CeMAT Russia 2013, which will have about 200 exhibitors, will be held in September over an area that will top the 10,000 sqm (107,640 sqft.) mark for the first time.
"For the intralogistics industry, CeMAT Russia is an excellent platform for tapping into the markets of Russia and its neighbouring countries," says Wolfgang Pech, senior vice president of Deutsche Messe's foreign trade fair business.
Russia is an important market for German intralogistics products and equipment manufacturers. In 2012, Germany's intralogistics industry exports to Russia totalled about EUR791 million (USD1.051 billion). Germany will field 35 exhibitors this year, making it the fair's biggest exhibiting nation after Russia, and putting it ahead of China, Italy and the USA.
New exhibitors at the show include the Beumer Group, from Beckum, Germany.
Dr Christoph Beumer, managing director of Beumer Group, says there is huge demand for innovative intralogistics technology in Russia. "That is why we have had a presence in nearly all regions of Russia and the CIS states, via our Russian subsidiary, OOO Beumer, since 2007." At its CeMAT Russia debut, Beumer will showcase its three main business areas - conveyor and loading technology, palletising and packaging systems, and sorting and distribution technologies.
CeMAT Russia is at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow on 24-27 September. It is organised by Deutsche Messe AG subsidiary OOO Deutsche Messe RUS in partnership with the ITE Group Plc, a UK-based trade fair company with offices in 11 countries. Every year, ITE operates 50 exhibitions and conferences in Russia.
The inaugural CeMAT Russia was in 2010 with more than 100 exhibitors.
