Biomet-Ross, Inc., the parent company of Ross Hydrostatic Lift Trucks, LLC was issued Patent No. 6,604,601 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on August 12, 2003 for a lift truck drive train. The announcement was made August 18 by Keith Ross, Sr., Chairman CEO of Biomet-Ross, Inc.

"This is quite an achievement for the company and our employees to have pioneered the design, development, and manufacture of the world's first and only patented electric hydrostatic drive lift truck, and this now creates unlimited opportunities for all of us," says Ross.

The most desirable market place for the Ross lift trucks will be in environments that are known for having the harshest and most demanding conditions for an electric lift truck to operate in such as the carpet and paper industries.

"The Ross lift truck has the potential to dominate these industries because we provide to these users the safest, most efficient and ergonomic electric lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership and increase their uptime," explains Ross.

A family owned private company, Ross's headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
