A construction worker is in hospital after he fell out of the basket of a CAT telehandler while working on the roof of a three-storey apartment building.
According to media reports, Chad Miller, 25, of West Fargo was riding in the basket of the telehandler on Tuesday afternoon when other construction workers tried to reposition the forklift and it tipped over.
Local police say the man then fell onto another forklift, and a load of shingles landed on top of him. The roofer was taken to Essentia Health "with significant leg and arm injuries", the police spokesman adds.
