Rocla personnel celebrate both company's as well as Finland's 100th anniversary
Rocla Oy, Finland-based material handling company developing, manufacturing and marketing electric forklifts and automation (AGV) systems, is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Rocla is growing strongly and developing its global automation business. The company was founded in June 1942 to manufacture heating devices for warfare needs. After the war the focus changed into warehouse carriages and hand pallet trucks. First electric warehouse truck was designed in 1960s, and first automated guided vehicle was introduced in 1983. Today Rocla is growing strongly and employs over 400 professionals in R&D, production and automation business with support functions.

Rocla, who has been a fore-runner in the automation industry for almost 35 years, was the first to introduce serially manufactured, modular automated guided vehicle (AGV) platform, still offering a tailored process solution fully fit for customer's needs. Analyzing and understanding customer processes and developing them further is what continues to set Rocla apart from the competition. With AGV solutions IoT and digitalization are offering even better tools for improving customer processes.

Now Rocla is developing its global automation business even further with "Easy AGV", a whole new AGV digitalized solution environment. With the creation of continental hubs and local service through partner model and digital solution platform, Rocla will provide completely scalable automation solutions for all partners and customers globally. The project is well underway, as Rocla launched a year ago a revolutionary dynamic AGV software Rocla Route Optimizer. The results have been excellent: Route optimizer and partner model for new AGV partners have enabled the company to double the project sales during last 12 months.

After advertising with Forkliftaction.com, we got many enquiries regarding interest to be our distributor. Mostly from Europe and USA but including a few in ASEAN. We feel that the advertisement was useful and good for market expansion.

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
