RAVAS, innovative producer of mobile scales, has established a US sales and assembly facility in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. From these offices located north of Chicago, RAVAS will start its US distribution of scales for counterbalanced trucks, walkie and rider pallet trucks, stackers, stock selectors and hand pallet trucks.

RAVAS mobile scales installed on lift trucks and warehouse trucks display the weight of every pallet or container lifted. This saves time, manpower and floor space. The information from these mobile scales enables companies to realize immediate cost savings, to make their intralogistics cheaper and more efficient, to raise the quality of their products and services, and thus increase client satisfaction.

RAVAS mobile scales can link directly to WMS or ERP software packages, via existing wireless networks. This transforms lift trucks into platforms for gathering information on material flows, next to their basic function of materials handling equipment. This unique piece of added value is one of the reasons why the market for mobile scales is booming.

RAVAS USA is part of the RAVAS group, with existing production facilities in the Netherlands and in China. RAVAS has been the leading producer of mobile scales for more than 25 years, with a 50% European market share. RAVAS mobile scales are characterized by superior Dutch engineering and proven quality and reliability. NTEP certified, legal for trade versions are available for many models and applications.
