More than
60 years of experience as a manufacturer of wheels and castors in Germany and more than
30 years of experience as a manufacturer of VULKOLLAN® wheels and castors have made us one of the
leading suppliers of wheels for the forklift and materials handling industry worldwide.
Competent in-house development and design, innovative tread materials, state-of-the-art production facilities with ultra-modern machines and a computer-controlled test stand for dynamic tests of wheels and castors as well as extensive field tests in difficult applications guarantee for
excellent quality at all times.
With our wide range of high-quality
non-marking tread materials we can offer solutions for almost any
in-plant application:
- For great demands on speed, damping, load capacity and durability, we supply VULKOLLAN® (standard shore hardness 93° Shore A). Vulkollan wheels with a shore hardness of 95° Shore A are recommended for improving resistance to flat spots on drive and load wheels on heavy-duty narrow aisle and reach trucks.
- In case of wet and dirty track surfaces, e. g. in cold stores, we can offer TRACTOTHAN® wheels with improved grip through embedded TPU granules. TRACTOTHAN® boosts the braking effect and reduces the risk of sliding for improved transport safety.
- For sensitive floors, better driving comfort and noise reduction we have developed VULKOSOFT® and TRACTOSOFT® with reduced shore hardness.
- If you require electrically conductive wheels and castors with a volume resistance value below 104 Ohm in plants with a high risk of fire and explosion, e. g. those involving the production and storage of chemicals, cosmetics as well as paint and lacquer manufacturing and the petroleum and the automotive industries, VULKOLLAN®-ELF is the material of choice.
- PEVOPUR® is a non-marking high-quality polyurethane for low speed applications.
Our
latest innovation is
VULKODYN® - a novel polyurethane based on DESMODUR® 15 by BAYER AG, Leverkusen for
fast moving dynamic applications with high loads. The hydrolysis resistant, non-marking material with a shore hardness of 94° A has excellent chemical and mechanical properties and an increased load capacity compared to other high-quality polyurethanes, even higher than VULKOLLAN®. It is therefore ideally suited for forklift trucks in distribution centres, also in warm and humid climates.
