Yes it's open!

In October 2007, Chinese customers and government officials were treated to a spectacular show during the presentation of the new FAAM facility in China, Yixing IBF, which is located in Xushe, Jiangsu Province (250 km from Shanghai).

The new company opened by the Monterubbiano Group will produce plates, DIN and BS standard elements, light motive power as well as charged and dry charged for fork lifts and electrical vehicles destined for the Chinese, Asian and American markets. Among the many government officials attending was the governor of Jiangsu province, Mr Han, as well as the Italian Consul General, Massimo Roscigno.

Production started in 2006 and increased during 2007 under the leadership of Jungheinrich, OM, Linde, Hangcha, Dingli, Toyota, BT and Shangli with their first Chinese facilities. Yixing IBF covers the entire national territory with 3 direct services and 7 dealers, all battery professionals, in Beijing, Tianjing, Souzhou, Wuxi, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Canton.

Large investments (WOFE - Wholly owned Foreign Enterprises) enable the Group to offer better technology in the European technology sector for plate production and the highest quality components. Maximum attention has been given to the environment, as per European regulations, under which FAAM was the first company in Europe to get certification from EMAS (Environmental Management System).
