Nissan Forklift's newest generation of Walkie/Rider pallet trucks, the Platinum RPX Series, incorporates advanced AC power technology for increased performance and efficiency. The new RPX generation uses an AC drive motor, versus DC, reducing maintenance while increasing performance and overall battery life. In addition, the RPX Series is ready for the future, with demonstrated ability to provide environmentally friendly performance and reliability using hydrogen fuel cell power, in lieu of industrial batteries. These rugged pallet trucks are available in both 6,000-lb. and 8,000-lb capacities.
The RPX Series features a 5.2 horsepower, brushless AC drive motor that enhances performance and efficiency throughout the battery life cycle. The elimination of brushes and commutator in the AC drive motor maximizes performance, while reducing heat and maintenance issues. The electronic AC inverter / motor controller delivers fast travel speeds, while its proportional plugging provides smooth, precise stops and directional changes.
Designed with operator input, the RPX Series features a compact hood and spacious platform area for greater foot- and leg-room. Optional Sidetracker and Coast Control features allow the operator to work with greater efficiency. A spring-loaded handle and wide control head provide simple, effortless movement into the operating range.
The Nissan RPX Series models deliver increased performance, comfort, and low cost of ownership. Standard value-added features make the RPX models a popular choice for a wide variety of applications.
