Nine events recognise half century for Wolter Group

Half-century celebrations will continue into November for employees and customers of operations of Brookfield-based Wolter Group LLC.

Businesses of the holding company include Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp, Illinois Material Handling, Wolter Material Handling and Wolter Power Systems.

Upcoming events include golf outings for customers of the Green Bay branch on 15 August and the Brookfield branch on 22 August.

Otto Wolter, chief executive officer, is scheduled to throw the honorary first pitch before the Milwaukee Brewers' home baseball game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Miller Park on the evening of 1 September.

A similar baseball game outing for customers of the Madison and Janesville branches takes place on 29 September, and a southern region employee appreciation party is slated for 3 November.

Earlier baseball game outings involved customers of Wolter Power Systems on 23 May, the Brookfield branch on 20 June and the fleet department on 1 August. The Wausau branch held a customer golf outing on 21 June.

Operations of Wolter Group employ 325 and represent 43 brands of primary and auxiliary materials handling equipment.
