Hoist Liftruck Manufacturing has expanded its Independence, Ohio facility after sales continue to remain strong in their Specialized Product Group.

Hoist Companies, based in Bedford Park, IL on a 28 acre manufacturing complex, announced the expansion of its Ohio location. The Independence, OH facility is headquarters of the "Hoist Specialized Products Group" that includes die handlers, platform trucks, walkie products and explosion-proof forklifts. This expansion was required due to the second consecutive quarter of increased sales of the Hoist's Specialized Product Lines. These product lines each built their reputation individually as Elwell Parker, Schreck and Autolift and remain the preferred options for automotive, steel and aluminum customers when their application requires a heavy duty product offering.

"The expansion, along with the addition of some key management personnel, positions our Specialized Products division to continue to expand our market share as the economy continues to recover."

Jacover went on to say, "Pollock directly enhances our company's ability to provide product expertise to our customer base and this will ultimately continue the growth the Specialty Products division has experienced over the last two quarters." Pollock's experience with the Schreck product line stems back to the late 1970's and his 25 years of manufacturing and product experience in the specialty material handling industry makes him uniquely qualified to head up the Specialized Product division of material handling equipment for Hoist.
