While the event starts in 25 days, numerous exhibitors already have posted short YouTube.com videos in a ProMat 2011 popularity contest.

The goal is to encourage visitors to exhibitors' booths during the 21-24 March trade show in Chicago. All ProMat 2011 exhibitors are eligible to participate.

Show organiser Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) is conducting the Make-Your-Vote-Count contest. Every ProMat registrant has one vote to help select the winning videos.

An entrant creates a video of about one minute in length, uploads the content into YouTube.com and submits a completed entry form. Entered videos go through a screening process to assure they meet the contest rules.

Each of the top three vote getters will receive a USD100 gift certificate, and MHIA will host the winning videos on the www.ProMatShow.com homepage from 15-25 March.

Charlotte-based MHIA launched the contest on 1 November.
