He will also provide technical support to production, sales and marketing and purchasing. He has an extensive background in project and departmental management.

Liening will provide sales support to a group of dealerships by promoting Clark programs, products and finance programs as well as guide them in developing dealer major accounts and assisting with customer calls. He has sales experience with heavy equipment, a rental company and forklift parts.

Manitex International's board of directors has elected Ronald M Clark as director of the company. Clark will become chairman of the audit committee and will also serve on the compensation committee and the committee on directors and board governance. He is the chief investment officer of Allianz of America Inc, which manages investments for North American insurance companies of Munich-based Allianz SE. He replaces Terrence P McKenna who passed away on 5 October.
