BEB Announces Upgraded Tool for Forklift Sales
New Generation of Quoting Software Released

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - BEB Industrial Asset Management announced the release of the newest version of its quoting software for material handling equipment - QuoteMaster IQ®.

This is the seventh generation of the company's popular quoting software, and it incorporates many new features for its users. The original QuoteMaster product was born in 1991 out of a single material handling equipment (MHE) dealer to improve the efficiencies of the sales processes. While the latest version is vastly different from the original, the primary benefit is still the same - to help MHE salespeople produce better quotes, faster and easier, and thereby close more sales.

Salespeople Are Working Smarter

The challenging economic environment has caused many MHE dealerships to reevaluate their sales processes. "We know that MHE salespeople are already working as hard as they can, so we try to give them tools that allow them to work smarter," said Billi Keys, product manager at BEB. "QuoteMaster IQ allows salespeople to produce a customized, professional-looking quote sheet for their customers, without a lot of time and effort."

The BEB quoting software package incorporates all of the manufacturer's build specification options, along with dealer options, to allow the salesperson to configure the equipment exactly to the customer's specifications. Financing options are integrated too. Behind the scenes, the software allows for adjustment of factory and dealer discounts, thereby creating extensive flexibility for the salesperson. "Selling is tough enough these days," notes Jason Bratton, vice president of business development for BEB, "Creating a quote should be the easy part."

Sales Management is Smarter Too

While the QuoteMaster IQ software empowers salespeople to work smarter, it also has advantages for a dealership's management team. "This latest version includes tools that allow the management team to see the salespeople's activity," remarked Bratton, "By keeping management in the sales loop, salespeople avoid last-minute hiccups that can kill deals." The software also integrates with some popular CRM packages.

The QuoteMaster IQ system will include pricing and specifications for 44 different brands of equipment. Because BEB maintains the data on its servers, implementation of the quoting system is fast and easy.
