Keytroller's SMARTY is a compact digital camera recorder that records video before and after a damaging impact produced by a lift truck. The device is unbelievably easy to use. Simply mount the camera (facing front or rear) and connect to power and begin recording! (12 or 24VDC or converter needed for 36-48V) The small profile design with adjustable mounting bracket fits easily to any overhead guard----with NO restriction of visibility. The adjustable mounting bracket makes it easy to change viewing angle from front to rear without remounting the camera.
SMARTY begins recording when it's 3 axis accelerometer senses an impact, fast acceleration, deceleration or a quick turn. The impact sensitivity can be set for all axis in sensitivity settings from 1-9. Video and G-force is recorded up to 20 seconds before and 15 seconds after the impact and stored on the unit's SD memory card.
The SD memory card has software built into it. The card is removed from the device and inserted into a PC card reader (same as a digital camera uses) and downloaded into your PC. These events are opened independently to view video of the incident and 3 axis G-force line log---all on one screen!
For trucking applications there is also GPS tracking model---with no monthly wireless costs! Easy software sorting of location, speed and impacts allows review of driver's habits, speeds, routes and destination stop time. The video is viewed on the same screen as Google Map/Earth location of the trip.
SMARTY's can be used on all of your company vehicles-it's video record provides visual and legal proof of guilt in an accident. Drivers are more diligent because they are monitored resulting in significantly less accidents, improved productivity and reduced insurance premiums. Accommodates hundreds of incidents in it's 2GB SD memory card. (Device accepts up to 16GB). Video/GPS files can be exported and pictures and report of the incident can be printed.
