Sun Tyre & Wheel Systems is part of the $6 billion TVS Group of India, leaders in automotive engineering. The TVS Group, founded in 1911, are leading suppliers to all the major automotive OEMs in the world.

Sun Tyre offers a complete range of Industrial Solid Resilient, Press On Band, Pneumatic, Mould On and Specialty tyres; Fabricated and Cast Wheels and Assemblies. Sun Tyre caters to a very broad spectrum of materials handling applications - from forklifts, trailers, access platform vehicles, ground support equipment, passenger boarding bridges to specialised and custom engineered equipment and other material handling equipment.

The company's brands include Numa, Talon, Tantor and the new Sunbear range. Quality grades range from Budget to Xtra Premium, while the Sunbear brand offers an exceptional balance between price and performance for today's global economic climate.

Sun Tyre's Engineering Design Center (EDC) is a resource for analysis, design, problem-solving and recommendation for solutions to materials handling problems or challenges. The EDC is constantly developing new designs and products for evolving applications around the world or to meet specific customer requirements.

All products are covered by an extensive warranty policy and a global product liability policy.

Sun Tyre's products are distributed on all continents, and 2009 is a banner year as both production and sales are at record levels with the addition of new customers worldwide. Due to the unprecedented demand, Sun Tyre has embarked on a 40% increase in its capacity which will be commissioned in September 2009.
