Bedford Park, Illinois ‐ July 08, 2009 - Hoist Liftruck unveiled a redesign of its P‐Series pneumatic forklift line, which was based on the idea behind its new ECH Series empty container handlers.

The redesigned P‐Series features a modular chassis, similar to the ECH Series, which allows for containerized shipping, saving customers as much as 25% on shipping and setup costs. The modular design also provides efficient serviceability. Bolt‐on assemblies, such as fuel and hydraulic tanks, can be easily removed and replaced if damaged.

"The modular design not only saves our customers on shipping costs, but also more capacity and wheelbase options," said Marty Flaska, president of Hoist Liftruck. "With this redesign, we're able to offer models over 20 ton capacity on shorter wheelbases to meet the need of customers who need high‐capacity trucks in tight working environments."

The redesign also features overhead tilt cylinders throughout the P‐Series capacity range (10‐50+ tons). Additional features include a Cummins Tier III diesel engine, Dana automatic transmission, AxleTech planetary drive axle, outboard wet disc brakes, wide‐view two‐stage mast, electronic fingertip controls, true inching control, easyaccess service points and RemoteTech vehicle management system.

Hoist Liftruck Mfg., Inc. manufactures heavy‐duty lifting products, ranging in capacity from 6.7 tons to 50 tons. These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
