Regonizing Omega Lift's acheivements and expansion into the global marketplace, the joint 2008 OMED-OCC Ontario Global Traders Award has been awarded to the growing forklift manufacturer.

Omega Lift Manufacturing Inc. has been selected to be the top recipient of this year's Ontario Global Traders Award.

The Ontario Global Traders Awards (OGTA) program has been Ontario's premier export recognition program. The OBBAs, which are province-wide awards launched in 1983, publicly recognize excellence and innovation in Ontario's business community.

Ontario's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) work together to recognize Ontario's most innovative and successful exporters in two award categories: Innovation and Market Expansion.

"In the past twenty three years since my father started Omega Lift Manufacturing as a one-man repair shop, our company has grown exponentially," says Greg Pannia, Operations Manager. "We have worked extremely hard to create products worthy of the global market's attention and are very proud of the accomplishments of our team as we made our foray onto the world stage. Being awarded the Global Traders Award is an honor and a validation of that hard work."

We are thrilled, honoured and very proud to have won this Gold Award for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce."

In November 2008, Omega Lift will officially recieve the award at a gala Ontario Chamber of Commerce event at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto honouring recipients of other business awards.

The event, will to be attended by approximately 1,000 business and political leaders at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Tuesday, November 4th, hosted by Canadian icon Jann Arden.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
