Komatsu Forklift Europe presented prizes to its distributors at its annual meeting in Juan Les Pins, attended by over 80 delegates this month.

The distributors that received performance awards from Komatsu Forklift Europe general manager Eiji Fukuda and Komatsu Forklift general manager for European sales Rory Harvey-Kelly were:

• Kirov PLC, Bulgaria, for highest market share in its dedicated region
• Makolift SA, France, for highest volume
• Sia Baltexim, Baltics, for best new distributor
• Kirov PLC, Bulgaria; Northern Forklift Ltd, Ireland; and MT Truck, Denmark, for most improved sales over 2006
• Setmil Sp zoo, Poland, for best corporate distributor for increasing Komatsu brand awareness
• Matermaco, Belgium, for most balanced method of selling electric and ICE forklifts, and warehouse trucks, matching the market situation
• Erwin Ehlers GmbH & Co KG, Kloz GmbH & Co KG, Lenzing GmbH and Dipl -Ing M Weyer GmbH, Germany, for jointly organising a successful marketing approach for the German market.
