Ambassador Lift Trucks Ltd. has been appointed to distribute the full range of Komatsu Forklift material handling equipment in Essex, Suffolk and East London, increasing the Japanese manufacturer's network of distributors in the United Kingdom.

Ambassador offers the counterbalanced forklifts as well as the warehouse trucks for sale and rent, and also provides spare parts and service.

Ambassador's inventory consists of new, used and fully refurbished forklifts. The forklift hire fleet is available for casual hire, for one day up to one year, or for long-term contract hire. Targeting all industry segments including logistic centres as well as the transportation industry, Ambassador was started in Essex in 1995 by two brothers, Andrew and Trevor De'Ath.

"We decided to become a distributor of Komatsu forklifts in order to offer our customers a full range of material handling equipment," says Andrew De'Ath. "This means a wide range of counterbalanced as well as warehouse trucks."

"Komatsu's priority for quality and reliable products convinced us, so we are sure we will be able to serve our customers also with a high quality service in the future."

Ambassador, like all distributors of Komatsu forklifts in the United Kingdom, is supported by KMHUK, the Komatsu UK head office based near Birmingham.

"We are proud that Andrew and Trevor De'Ath, with their long experience in the forklift industry, decided on Komatsu Forklift," says Rory Harvey-Kelly, the manufacturer's general manager for sales in Europe. "This is an important step for us, to increase the network of distributors in the United Kingdom."
