Sydney's trucking community will combine business with pleasure while raising funds for a good cause when
Sydney UD hosts its second annual Charity Golf Day for the
Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC).
The 2007 event takes place on
Friday 12 October at
Liverpool Golf Club, Hollywood Drive, Lansvale.
"Apart from being a great day for networking on a championship golf course, our main aim is to raise funds for deaf babies and toddlers," says Sydney UD general manager, Geoff Carroll.
"This is the second year we've run the event, and with the support of Sydney's trucking community we're aiming to exceed the A$5,000 we raised last year."
Based at North Rocks in Sydney, RIDBC is the largest independent special educator in Australia and relies heavily on community support.
Sydney UD is the largest UD dealer in Australia and continues to experience strong growth thanks to its 'ultimate dependability'.
