Noblelift North America has launched its PSR30 Walkie Reach Truck, a 3,000 lbs. (1,360kg) capacity, lithium-powered machine which it says has the versatility of acting as both a counterbalance forklift and straddle reach truck.

Describing it as “Swiss Army Knife for material handling”, the PSR30 has a pantograph reach mechanism which, when in extended reach mode, allows the machine to function as a sit-down counterbalance forklift.

When the reach mechanism is retracted, the PSR30 acts as a compact straddle reach truck which can be used in narrow aisles, tight spaces and for side loading flatbed trailers, making it suitable for a wide number of applications from warehouses, supermarkets, and retail aisles to delivery operations.

“This ability to seamlessly switch between two roles makes the PSR30 one of the most versatile lift trucks in the industry, reducing the need for multiple pieces of equipment, cutting operating costs, and ensuring maximum productivity across many environments,” Noblelift states.

Another key feature of the PSR30 is what Noblelift describes as the “breakthrough Moon Walking mode” for side-stand operation.

“Moon Walking is more than a feature,” says Bill Pedriana, president of Noblelift North America. “It’s a giant leap for safety and storage density.

 “The PSR30 combines radically improved visibility with tighter aisle efficiency, helping operations to maximise racking capacity while protecting both operators and products – and it’s on the industry’s most flexible truck.”

Other features of the PSR30 include three-stage mast with full free lift, double hydraulic cylinders, adjustable straddle legs and smooth proportional carriage tilt.
